Our Timber range consists of a range of Australian and Indonesian species, from classic Jarrah to Spotted Gum and Blackbutt, and with access to highly rated indo timbers such as Merbau and Pacific Jarrah to Kapur and Batu we can just about cover any type of timber you may be looking for.

Along with a great range of timber types we can also offer a few different sizes, these consist of the generic 90mm x 19mm to the popular 140mm x 22 which is great for that boardwalk style of veranda or if your laying large quantities.

With maintenance a large factor in outdoor living the ever-popular composite board, which we use in many applications, may suit your needs. We have a colour and style to suit any outdoor project whether it be residential or commercial.

One of the most durable decking timbers with a Class 2 rating its highly resistant to decay when fully exposed to the elements. Merbau decking has high levels of natural oil, which aids its life expectancy of 25 – 50 years with proper maintenance.

Jarrah Decking & Screens

One of the most popular types of timber used for decking Jarrah is native to Western Australia and has that classic deep red grain and colour. Another highly durable timber with a class 2: rating, it also has a natural resistance to termites.

Batu Decking

Batu is ideal for timber decks and screen. It is very similar to merbau and is a hard and durable timber which is yellow brown, reddish brown or sometimes purplish brown and which darken with age. It has a fine to medium texture with a wavy interlocked grain and a medium to low shrinkage rate.

Spotted Gum Decking

Another Australian hardwood that is becoming ever popular with designers is Spotted Gum. It’s blonde colour characteristics are the ideal solution to lightening up an alfresco. It comes in both 140mm and 90mm sizes. Durability Class:2

Silver Ash Decking

Silver Top or Silver Ash is an Eastern Australian hardwood. Silver Top decking displays a very similar look to blackbutt with a beautiful grain and features a class 2 durability.

Pine Clears Decking

Pine Clears is treated pine without the natural knots in the timber to make it a better decking product. Though treated for water rot and termites, Pine Clears is still a softwood timber and is not as durable as alternative hardwood decking choices.

Kapur Decking

Kapur timber decking requires no finishing and will not rot when left outdoors where rain and sun will damage other lesser quality woods. Left untreated, Kapur decking will weather to a soft warm shade of grey similar to the weathering of teak.

Pacific Jarrah

Another exciting product is Pacific Jarrah (Manilkara Bidentata). This South American timber is very stable and durable, with a high density rating and as a class 2 rated timber is a great substitute for the Australian Jarrah.
